I just read that the leading Arabic calligrapher, Khalil al-Zahawi, has been shot and killed in Baghdad.

The Ministry of Type is a weblog by me, Aegir Hallmundur, about type, typography, lettering, calligraphy and other related things that inspire me. I am a designer originally from the far north of England, now living and working in Brighton in the far south of England.
